School academic start dates in Canada usually start in September (Fall), January (Winter), and May (Spring/Summer).

- Securing a Letter of Acceptance
A Letter of Acceptance – also known as LOA is an acceptance or offer letter given to you by a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) in Canada in order to apply for a study permit in Canada.
Yes, WOORI will process your Letter of Acceptance (LOA) at no cost with our partner schools. School application fees and full tuition fees still apply. You may find our list of partner schools here.
- Study Permit Application
WOORI is partnered with a Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) to guide you and submit your study permit application after availing of our free school admissions assistance.
Total professional fees will depend on whether you are applying as a single applicant, couple, or family (with dependent children).

- Tuition Fees In Canada
Depending on your choice of program and school, average tuition fees usually range from $16,000-$20,000 CAD per academic year (equivalent to 2 semesters).
Schools in Canada usually require the cost of your first semester fees to secure your slot in the program and apply for your study permit. This will also show the visa officer your commitment to studying in Canada.
Yes, students are eligible for a full refund if they can submit a refusal letter to their school. Some schools might deduct a small withdrawal fee to process your refund.
Most schools in Canada accept debit, credit card, or bank wire transfers to pay your tuition fees.
Schools will indicate the payment deadline on your offer letter or school invoice.
- Work Rights For International Students In Canada
International students are allowed to work part-time for up to 20 hours per week on-campus or off-campus while maintaining a full-time student status during school sessions. For more information, you may check the IRCC website here.
Co-op or Cooperative Education is a program where students can apply their knowledge and learnings related to their field of study. This can be paid or unpaid work placement that is part of the course requirements.
International students are permitted to work up to 40 hours per week on scheduled breaks such as summer and winter breaks.
International students may be eligible for Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) if they have graduated from a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) in a PGWP eligible program for at least 8 months. Cost of living in Canada will depend on your lifestyle, province, the city you plan to study, and if you have accompanying family members in Canada. Here are the estimated costs:
- Rent: $500-$1200 CAD/month
- Transportation: $100-$150 CAD/month
- Food: $300-$600 CAD/month
- Phone plan: $40-$60 CAD/month
- Miscellaneous: $50-$200 CAD/month
Schools usually require you to bring your own laptop and other devices needed depending on your chosen program. Textbooks are typically not included in the tuition fee and will be shouldered separately by the student.

Yes, we can assist and help our students get settled by obtaining their SIN number, bank account opening, transportation card, and phone plan.
Medical health insurance is usually included in your school tuition fees which will cover your entire school duration in Canada.
WOORI can guide you in finding part-time jobs in Canada. However, we are not a recruitment agency and cannot give job offers to our students.
